    There was a farmer in this country long ago he had a black ass called Neddy. He was very fond of this ass. One morning he went out and found Neddy was sick. He told his wife. She brought Paddy secial food, and after some time it got better. When he went out on the frm he discovered that some of his potatoes were stolen. He felt much annoyed and was determined to sit up and watch for the raider. he did so, but he fell asleep, and in the meantime the thief came. Neddy was bad the next morning and was treated again. The next night he sat up, and soon the thief came. The farmer shouted and the thief would not move. He fired and shot him. He was annoyed and went home and told his wife. The two of them went to their surprise they found it was Neddy the black ass was again coming to eat the potatoes. The farmer was sorry that he did not look first as
