  1. My father told me a story about Fionn Mac Cumhail. It was said he threw five stones from his five fingers from Sliveglagh Mountain to Shantromon Mountain on which they now stand in the form of five fingers and they are called the finger stones. There is also the track of where the people say he sat down near the finger stones.
He also told me that the people said that the track of toes were on a rock beside my home when he took one step from Shantromon Mountain near Castletara to there.
