  1. The favourite sport in our district in my father's time was foot-ball. The foot-ball team in our district was Annagh "Sons of Unsa. There foot-ball ground was at Redhills. There was goal posts with flags on them the flags were that of the jerseys the green above the red. They played some fine games with The Drumlane Sons of o Connell and the Lacken Celtic and the Cavan Slasher and many others. There was fifteen players on each side, two goal Empires, two Lines men, and a Referee.
