- In Snugboro there are many old paths and roads. There is one very old path supposed to have been made when the protestants were going to the battle of Ballinamuck.
It is paved with white stones. Along this path there is the grave of some ancient hero whose name is unknown.
The grave is like a green bed with stones all over it and almost beside it (theres) there is a "lone" bush where gold is supposed to be hidden.- Informant
