    When bless'd Fr Maguire he went to college, to inprove his knowledge and his love of truth.
    A rich lady fair that lived near Kildare strove for to ensnare this religious youth.
    She brought a clear receipt of a large estate to the college gate and these words did say,
    "Come marry me and you will see a Lord you'll be on your wedding day".
