  1. When a person dies he is washed soon afterwards. He is usually washed by a neighbour
    He is laid on a sheet on the ground, and washed with soap and water. If the person is a man he is shaved. Then a white shirt is put on, and then the habit, white gloves and socks. The hair is combed. In some cases the habit isn't put on the head till the body is put in the coffin.
