  1. There were a good many local prayers in olden times but they are nearly all forgotten now. After each decade of the Rosary some people say '' May the most holy names of Jesus, Mary and Joseph be ever praised and glorified.''
    If the devil is tempting this is a good prayer to say, '' Jesus help me and Joseph pray for me '', or '' My Queen and my Mother remember I am thine own, perserve and defend me thy property and possession.''
