    without a moment's delay. When they landed on the other side the man exclaimed that it was the best leap he ever saw. Immediately the calves and riders disappeared and the man was left all alone on the lake's shore. Next day some persons found him & explained to him where he was - so he set out for home and it took him several days to return.

  2. One evening a young woman was going to the meadow to bring home the cows when she met some of the "Gentry" who brought her off with them. Her husband and friends searched for her far and near, but to no avail.
