  1. Monday and Wednesday are always counted lucky days in this parish. Any person who are going to build a new house, always begins it on Monday and makes a great effort to be finished with it Saturday evening. The same way with ploughing.
Friday and Tuesday are always counted unlucky days in this parish. Nobody begins any new work on these days. There is always certain days on which the people plant trees, and vegetables. The twenty fifth of March they generally plant garlic, because if it is planted on that day there is a cure in it. They also plant egg trees in a month with an r in it.
