  1. Proverbs
There are a quite a number of Proverbs, or old sayings in this locality such as:-
As you live you will die.
    Rob Peter and pay Paul.
He who slings mud is loosing ground.
Never put off till to-morrow what you can do to-day.
Valour is the better part of discretion.
Kind deeds are better than words
Where there us a will there is a way
    One good turn deserves another.
    A Penny for your thoughts
There are none so blind as they that won't see
She watches him as a cat would watch a mouse
    Immodest words admit no defence
For want of decency is want of sense
After a storm comes a calm
The longest way round is the shortest way home
I am not as green as I look.
A stitch in time saves nine.
    Alls well that ends well
Never discard old friends for new ones.
    Health is better than wealth.
