  1. In the townland of [] there is a well known as Saint Patrick's Well. There is an ash tree growing beside it. At foot of the well there is a large stone and on it Saint Patrick used to kneel to pray. The trace of his knees is still on this stone.
Long ago the people used to go to pray, at the well on the last Sunday in July and they used to walk on their knees to the chapel and make the Stations of the cross. The well is fenced in lest cattle would drunk out of it.
In Kildaugh chapel there is a font made out of stone, on which the coffins used to be brought out to Inch Island for burial, and Saints Mouge's holy water is kept in it.
Every night a larger light comes and travels round part lakes. When this light is there Saints Mouges [] can be seen under the water. The light is supposed to come to show the people the way to the chapel for Saint Mouge's holy water.
