  1. There are many new roads in this locality. There is a new road leading from Kellycluggan Cross through Lahermahone to Ballyconnelland is called Laher Road. Before the Laher road was established the people went up by Ballyness Mill Some of the people go walking up by the mill yet when going to Ballyconnell.
    There is a new road around Cooleague shore across Brenen Bridge through the townland of Brenen. The Brenen road is made about twenty five years. Father Peter Brady was responsible for the making of Brenen Road.
    There is an old road leading down by the front of the school down by Patrick Brady's house and terminates in Roy. The road is only as far as Bradys. There is a road also leads through Ballymagovern. It is called the old road. There is a road leading from the main road to Mc Entyres of Gortaclogher.
    The road leading from Newtown to Ballinamore was tarred in Summer Some of the local rivers are crossed at places by a couple of planks being thrown a cross the river
