    There used to rule landlords over this district. They were looked upon as hard landlords for they were exact in rent and if you had better crops one year than another the rent would be higher and if you mended your house or built a new house the rent would be raised. Finley was the landlords name that used to rule over this district. No one heard of evictions carried on in this district.
    He used to ride a horse to the houses for the rent, and he would only go to the door and demand the rent.
