There is a story told about an incident which occurred in this townland. There was a preacher who used to go to all the houses and say prayers. No matter what would happen, he always used to say '' What happens is always best ''. There is an old limekiln in Drumbagh and the people made it up among themselves to dig a hole where he used to pass.
The people dug a trench at the limekiln and put briars and little stones over it. When the preacher was passing, he fell in and broke his leg. When he got out he said '' What happens is best ''
