The "four acre" is so called because there are four acres in it. The rest of the fields around my home are "Carson's field" the "Upper Hill", the "bushy field", the "crop field". "Carson's field" got its name because a woman named Carson lived beside it it.
The "upper hill" is so called because it is on a height and is far away from the house.
The "bushy field" got its name because there are a great many bushes growing in it.
The "crop field" is the field in which we set our crops.
