    back of the house. On the following morning the paling was found torn up and the unfortunate man was found dead.
    There is supposed to be a Banshee track at the back of the Lower Green.
    A family of Kelly's who lived in Charlesland (now owned by Evans) one day a beautiful summers day in June as the men were making hay they saw a field of first crop hay taken by the fairies in a sheet from Murray's of Ballynerin.
    The descendants of these Kelly's now living in Kilcool.
