    One morning Mr. Byrne was coming near Mr. Moore's barn...

    (continued from previous page)
    heard a flail working in it. When he opened the iron gate, two black cats ran out of the barn. When Mr. Byrne opened the door he saw that the flail was lying on the ground. After that he went into the farm-house and found Mr. Moore at his breakfast. A couple of days after the faries got angry with him, and began to ride around on his back. After a while he got a hump on his back which after a few days he died.
