  1. There is a Holy well in Mr Howlett's bog. It is always clear and there is a big stone over it. The water is always ice cold even the hottest day in summer. There are bushes growing near it
    One day long ago a priest was passing by the well and when he saw the lovely well and the water so clear, he took a drink of it, and the water was so good that he blessed (it) the well and ever since there is a big flow of water running out of it and it has been proved that there is a cure in it
