There is a field on our farm
at Thomastown called Hudson's
Hill. There was a man named
Michael Hudson who owned this
farm about fifty years ago. He
also was agent for the B arysfort [?]
Estate about that time. This field
is situated above the house bounded
by Kilahurler road on the right
and Johnstown on the left.

There is another field on the same
farm called Paul's field, it also
got it's name from the owner about
a hundred years ago whose name
was Paul. From this field there
was clay raised to make bricks,
to build the present residence on
Thomastown.
