There is a road about two miles outside Arklow. It is called the Danes road,because the Danes marched along it.
there is a lane near the railway station in Arklow called the yellow lane.It got its name because there is yellow clay in it.
There is a place about half a mile from Coolgreany called tinkers town.It got its name because the Tinkers used to camp there.
