  1. There are many signs of storms and changeable weather shown by the movements of certain birds.
    The sea-gulls come to the land when there is going to be a storm at sea.
    When the swallows fly low it is a sign of rain, when they fly high it is a sign of fine weather.
    The curlew whistles and flies towards the north for fine weather.
    The rooks fly high and comes down in a sloping direction which denotes a storm.
    The robin sits low in a thorn when rain is near and takes a higher perch when the weather is fair.
    The starlings come to the lowlands in search of food from the mountains when the weather is severe.
    The blackbird hops along the ground and chirps when the weather is going to be dry and
