  1. A cure for warts
To cure warts, get a snail and rub it on them. Then hang the snail on a blackthorn to dry. When the snail dries the warts disappear.

  2. A cure for black-leg in cattle.
When one of the animals dies, get one of its legs and hang it in the chimney, and as long as the animal's leg remains in the chimney, there will not be any more cases with black-leg.
