    There is a jut of rock sticking over the road and it is believed that a butcher hung himself there and it is called the Butcher's rock.
    The first threshing engine ever seen in the district threshed in a field and it was afterwards called the "Engine field".
    Other fields are called by the following names. The "Flat Field", the "Fairy Field", the "Shared Field", The Cot Field, and Moores bog".
