  1. A Fairy Story
One night Daddy was coming home from work. He was working in Mr. Kinsella's. When he got out of the wood he heard lovely music. He thought he heard many voices up at the Quicken Tree, as he said he would go up to it. He turned around to go up and something struck him not to go, but to go home first. He turned around to go home and his hair stood up on his head. It was the fairies that had him.
