    The girl said cat will you kill rat rat would you cut rope rope would not hang butcher butcher would not kill bull bull would not drink water water would not quench fire fire would not burn stick stick would not beat dog dog would not bit pig pig would not cross the ditch to get me a bunch of black berries. The cat said she would the cat began to kill the rat the rat began to cut the rope the rope began to hang the butcher the butcher began to kill the bull the bull began to drink the water the water began to quench the fire the fire began to burn the stick the stick began to beat the dog the dog began to bit the pig and the pig went over to get her the black berries

  2. Fairy Funeral
    This is a very common account & is told by almost everyone.
    One day a woman saw a fairy funeral coming down a hill & she called out the people of the house to see it. When it was done they went inside to find that their child which they had left in the cradle was a changling who grew up to be an ugly semi beast. If they had heated this gent on a red hot shovel their own child would have been returned by the fairies
