  1. There were no giants in the district about here but Mr Patrick Mulhall has told us that there is a giants grave in Mr Hannons bog & there are three tomb stones over it.
    A giant was supposed to roll stone Avoca to its present position.
    It is said anyone walking on the tomb stones you will find sharp thorns in your bed that night.
