  1. In a field belonging to Mr Andrew Cunniam Tomdarragh Co. Wicklow, there is a cave, and it is said that a cow belonging to him strayed into it and it never came out, so he had the cave blocked up at once so that no similar accidents would happen.
    When the men who were working at the blocking of the cave, and clearing away the stones and clay, they found a cross, but I do not no what became of it.
    At the mouth of the cave there is a "sceac tree", and that is how they now where the of the cave was.
