  1. At Christmas nearly all the houses are decorated with holly, or mistletoe, and when Easter comes, the people take out the holly and put it in the cowhouses.
    On Palm Sunday when the people get the Palm they put it behind holy pictures, or in holy water.
    At a certain time of the year some farmers sprinkle their land with holy water and in the month of May they get their cattle blessed. Old mugs and other old earthenware are also regarded as emblems of value.
