  1. Some years ago a man in Ballard dreamt he found a crock of gold on his farm. The next night he got a number of men to dig for it and they dug for a few nights but they never got it.
    It was said that a man living near by, who was passing the place sometime after, found the crock of gold in this place. It is in Ballard about seven miles from Rathdrum.
