  1. Local Happenings:
    One time a girl left her home to go for water, and she was not coming back, then someone went to look for her, and found her in a river.
    There was a man in Glenmalure one time and he was leaving a neighbour's house to go home. The man of the house told him not to attempt to go home as there was an awful fog out, but he went. When he went some distance he got lost, and he was found dead after weeks among the rocks.
