Cross and there is celtic interlacing with no beginning nor end to it on the back and sides of it.
There is a stone in Glendalough Churchyard with the mark of a horses hoof and there is a man buried under it and if a horse walks over it the man will stand up and take the horse.
There is a cross in a field up near the upper lake and on one side there is the mark of a foals hoof and on the other side there is a mark of a mares hoof. There is a story told about this cross. It is said that a horse dealer is buried under it and that is why it has the marks of the foals and mares hoofs on it.
