  1. There is an old cross called the Wishing Cross it is to be found in Glendalough Churchyard, there is no writing on it and it is the biggest in the churchyard.
    It is supposed that Saint Kevin is buried under this cross and if people go and put their arms around it and wish they are supposed to get their wish.
    There is another very old cross in Saint Kevin's Kitchen it is called the Market Cross. It stood in the Market Square and that is why it is called the Market Cross, it was taken into Saint Kevins Kitchen to be preserved.
    There is a figure of two bishops and Our Lord crucified carved on the Market
