  1. I have also heard of a family who can cure consumption in its early stages but there is no secret of the ingredients used - The foll. is prepared:-
    Equal quantities of Mountain Sage woodbine and thyme are boiled together and kept boiling until total quantity of liquid at first has been reduced to one half.
    An old woman named Mrs Kavanagh of Shramore is supposed to sue a lot of herbs as cures. There is nothing definite known. She died about sixty years ago.
