    and other objects of piety are affixed to the bough of the haw-thorn bush. There is no distinction between the men's offerings and those of the women. Offerings are made by most visitors to the well, especially those who are cured in its waters.
    It is believed that St. Kevin blessed this well as he was on his way to Glenadlough for the first time.
