    20. Spiders:- When the spiders come from their webs.
    21. Fog:- When the fog goes south in the morning or when there is a heavy fog out.
    22. Hens:- When hens peck themselves when they shelter under the trees.
    23. Smoke: When the smoke goes down from the hills towards the river.
    24. Frost: If there is a heavy frost at night there is sure to be rain the next day.
    25. Curlew:- When curlews cry in the night or in the evening.
    26. Moon:- When the moon is drowned or covered with fog it is a sign of rain.
    27. Red Sky: A red sky in the morning.
    28. Mountain Goats:- When the mountain goats come down from the mountains.
    29. Wild Geese:- When wild geese fly in the form of a "w".
    30. Black Strokes:- When black strokes are to be seen in the sky that is clouds broken in long lines.
    31. Cats:- When cats sit with their backs to the fire.
    32. Fog:- When there is a fog on Church Mountain.
    33. Moon:- When there is a circle around the moon: "the farther the circle the nearer the rain".
    34. Ducks:- When ducks quack.
    35. Cones:- When peoples corns pain them.
    36. Crane:- When the crane goes up the hill.
    37. Animals:- When all animals are in a sort of sleep.
    38. Snipe:- When Snipe whistles.
