    8. Rainbow:- When there is a rainbow in the morning. It is a sign of a storm of wind and rain together.
    9. "Streamers":- When there are "streamers" from the setting sun in the evening.
    10. Fishing:- When fishing in a flood with worms and there is a good "take" on. This is a sign of rain because if there is going to be fine weather they would be waiting for the flies.
    11. Walls-weep:- When the walls weep in fine weather it is a sign of rain or when the floor weeps.
    12. Soot Falls:- When soot falls down the chimney it is a sign of rain.
    13. Dogs:- When dogs eat grass.
    14. Cats:- When cats scratch their nails against the legs of a table or stool.
    15. Swallows:- When Swallows fly low it is also a sign of rain because they are trying to catch the flies before they shelter from the rain.
    16. Rheumatism:- Old people say that when their rheumatism pains them, or when their corns pain them.
    17. Morning Sun:- "No morning sun lasts a whole day".
    18. Insects:- When midgets bite it is a sign of rain.
    19. Wind:- When the wind comes from the south, it is also a sign of rain.
