When the wild geese go to the mountain.
20. When the goats come down from the mountain.
When there is a rainbow in the morning.

Some people from this locality have a lot of sayings concerning the weather.
1. When Church Mountain is capped with a fog it is a sure sign of rain
2. When there is a halo around the moon it is the sign of a storm, an old saying is:- "the farther the circle the nearer the storm".
