- Little Girl and the crock of gold
There was a girl one time who was always dreaming of gold. One morning she was coming down the hill from milking the cows. She saw a little man coming towards her. He asked for for a drink and she gave him a tin of milk. He gave her a crock of gold. She told him to hide it in the ground and to put a piece of stick over it. When she (came) went back for the gold the place was covered with sticks. - Collector
