This man who was named Cardiff, lived in Ballyhook. That was about eighty years ago.

This man who was named Cardiff lived in Ballyhook. That was about eighty years ago. He lived in the house where Mr. Kavanagh now lives. He owned that big estate in Ballyhook and was very rich. He lived there for a long time, with his friends and servants. At last he hanged himself somewhere in the wood around the house. This man is supposed to come as a ghost and haunt the house where he used to live. He is supposed to sleep in an old bin, that used to be in his barn. This bin was sold at Mr. Crawley's auction. We have the bin in our barn now. Since we got the bin we did not see any ghosts.
