  1. In olden times when there were no toys sold in shops, the children used make toys themselves.
    They used to make whistles from straw. They got the straw and cut a bit out of the side of it and when blew through it, it whistled.
    They also made whistles out of sticks. They used get a bit of a stick bore a hole through it and cut a bit out of the side of it and then blow.
    They made a car out of a box with four polish boxes under it for wheels.
    For wheelbarrows they used get a box and put a polish-box on it for a wheel and put two handles out of it. For handballs they would get paper and roll it up into a
