  1. Once upon a time there was a man going along the road and there was an old man in the ditch unable to get up.
    The passer-by took him up on the car and brought him home with him and put him to bed.
    When he got better, and when he was going away, he gave them a nut and told them to wish three times.
    When they were getting their tea the man said, "I wish I had a pan of sausages". The woman said, "I wish they were hanging out of your nose". They had to give the last wish to get them off his nose.
