  1. I have a churn at home. It is twenty nine inches in height and twenty inches in breadth. It is a dash-churn and we churn about once a week. It is my mother that churns the milk.
    At first my mother puts the milk into the churn and then she begins to churn. She puts hot water into the churn and she dashes, lifting and lowering the dash for about an hour.
    Then she takes the butter from the churn and puts it into a dish and puts salt
