  1. I was down at Miss Briens one day and I saw her churning. She had a big churn and it was half-full of milk. She caught hold of the dash in her hands and lifted it up and let it down without stopping.
    When she had it half churned she went in and got a kettle of boiling water and brought it out, and put it in the churn to help to churn it. When it was churned there was a lot of butter on it.
