- There was a great storm in February 1903.
One night a terrific wind arose and lasted one day. It swept the roofs off houses, uprooted trees, blew down telegraph wires and scattered the hay and corn out of the haggards all over the countryside.
At sea the ships were tossed about with terrific waves. Some of the ships were a day late late, owing to the great gale. The storm raged so fiercely that the people were very much afraid and began(continues on next page)- Collector
