    The local sayings regarding the weather are very true.
    They say "A rainbow in the morning is a shepherd's warning", "A rainbow at night is the shepherd's delight.
    The circle around the moon is the sign of a storm. If the circle is out far from the moon the storm is near, and if it is near the moon the storm is far away.
    When soot falls it is going to be wet.
    The south wind brings the most rain to this district.
