  1. NIcholas Lynch of Ballinroan and Denny Murray of Talbotstown were coming home from Kiltegan one night in the winter. It was a moonlight night. When they came to a certain place on the road, called "Power's Lane", they found a shilling. One said to the other "will we go back to the village and spend it?" So they decided to go back and spend it. When it was spent, they started for home again. They came to the same place on the road, they found another shilling, and they took it up and went back and spent it. And when they came to the same spot a third time, they saw
