    Little Nanny Etticoat,
    In a white petticoat,
    And a red nose
    The longer she stands,
    The shorter she grows? (A candle).
    Two legs sat on three legs,
    With one leg in his lap;
    In comes four legs,
    And runs away with one leg.
    Up jumps two legs,
    Catches up three legs,
    Throws it after four legs,
    And makes him bring back one leg.
    (A man sitting on a three legged stool with a leg of mutton in his lap in comes the dog takes the leg of mutton and runs away with it, the man throws the stool at him and makes him bring it back.
    What is it that the man that makes it does not want it and the man that makes it it does not want it. (A coffin.
