    to leave some religious object in a hole carried in the side of the Well for that purpose.
    This Well was never drained but the water of it was supposed to have been used by some people during a shortage of water. They tried to boil it but failed.
    Tradition holds that an inhabitant of Tournant had a illness which caused her to sleep for some weeks.
    She inquired about this Holy and found out its curative properties and she washed her eyes in it and she was cured.
    A large sycamore tree marks the place where the Holy Well of Saint Nicholas of Myra is.
