    On my father's farm the most harmful herb is scutch, The scutch spreads by a long stem resembling a string and it is very difficult to brake,
    If it is in one of the farm field's it will in time spread through all the fields and it is a very difficult herb to get rid of unless by putting lime on the fields,
    We have very little scutch now because we put lime on the fields, The scutch kills young turnips and mangels, Some of our mangels and
