    names on the tree. A boy in Dunlavin was nearly blind and by washing his eyes in the water his eyesight was restored. He has not very good eyesight now but is a great deal better than he used to be. His name is Tom Guing. He was cured about 8 years ago

  2. The only holy well that I know of in this parish is in Tournant which is situated about half a mile to the sout west of the town of Dunlavin. It is so near the Dun because that was the place where St Nicholas baptized his converts who were the inhabitants of the Dun. The only
